Underground Dog Fence Installation & Repair in Broward County

Pet Stop of South Florida provides professional wired electronic dog-fence installation, Pet Stop GentleSteps™ containment training and existing-system repair throughout Broward County. We design boundaries around the property, landscaping, pools, canals and other areas where pets need clear, consistent limits—without installing a conventional perimeter fence. We also offer indoor pet containment for dogs and cats for rooms, furniture and other off-limit areas inside the home.

Installation and Pet Stop GentleSteps™ Training

Each new-system consultation begins with the property, the pets and the areas the owner wants included or excluded. Installation usually takes about three to four hours. Training choices range from introductory and assisted packages to complete professional training, which commonly involves about five sessions over two weeks, with additional visits when needed for the pet to become fully contained. HOA, Gated and Established Neighborhoods

Many Broward communities—including Weston, Parkland, Coral Springs and Cooper City—have association rules or lot designs that make conventional fencing difficult. A wired electronic boundary does not add a visible perimeter fence, although homeowners should always confirm their association’s requirements. Electronic containment can supplement an existing physical fence when a pet digs under, climbs or jumps over, dashes through open gates or needs to avoid part of the yard. The boundary is designed as pet containment, not as a replacement for required pool or safety fencing.

Canal, Seawall & Waterfront Lots

Broward’s canal system creates properties where docks, seawalls, lakes and water access must be considered. Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Davie and other areas may require off-limit zones or boundary placement where conventional fencing is impractical.

Acreage and Irregular Properties

Davie, Southwest Ranches, Parkland, Plantation and western Broward include larger or irregular properties. Wired layouts can scale beyond a standard backyard and can establish selected exclusion zones while preserving usable space for the pet.

Repair and Boundary Service for Existing Systems

We locate and repair wire breaks, troubleshoot transmitter and receiver-collar problems, replace batteries, reinstall boundaries and add or change protected areas. Service is available for Pet Stop systems and, depending on the exact model, certain older Invisible Fence, DogWatch, PetSafe, Dog Guard and Innotek components. Compatibility is confirmed by phone before recommending a repair, compatible component or system upgrade.
